"Every genuine work of art has as much a reason for being as the earth and the sun." Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803 - 1882)
When an idea is born you have to put it into practice and not suppress it and let it wither, only because you want to
follow a certain style. For me, art means to live the liberty of bringing any idea to canvas without following a
predetermined style. Therefore I consciously avoid tying in with former expositions or styles. It is my goal to surprise
the beholder over and over and to inspire him as well as to spur his imagination. In no case do I wish to bore him.
